Geoff Donson, Group Security Manager

Geoff Donson joined TelecityGroup in 2007 as Group Security Manager, where he applies his expert knowledge of cybercrime to oversee the security strategy for the Group.

Donson spent over 27 years working for the London Metropolitan Police, within various divisions including the Serious and Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), the National Hi-Tech Crime Unit, the National Crime Squad, and the Computer Crime Unit. During these years he gained a specialist insight into current and emerging computer security threats, and has unrivalled experience of how to protect critical infrastructure and applications against malicious attack.

Donson’s responsibilities at TelecityGroup include ensuring the Group has visibility of the latest physical and electronic threats, and putting adequate measures into place to protect the Group’s assets. Donson also advises TelecityGroup customers on their security strategies and helps them to identify the best security products.
