TelecityGroup is the leading pan-European operator of network independent data centres offering a range of highly flexible, scalable data centre and related managed services to a wide range of organisations. By providing our customers with a highly-connected environment in which to locate their equipment, TelecityGroup data centres act as connectivity and content hubs facilitating the storage, sharing and distribution of data, content and media. TelecityGroup data centres also provide a secure location for organisations who want to outsource all or part of the hosting and management of their technical, web and internet infrastructure.

Headquartered in London, TelecityGroup operates 19 network independent data centres across seven European countries. The data centres are located in prime positions for commerce and connectivity, including Amsterdam, Dublin, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Milan, Paris and Stockholm. TelecityGroup creates its data centres by leasing suitable premises which it designs and fits out in accordance with industry best practice standards in terms of technical and operational specifications. TelecityGroup has a diverse customer base and currently has more than 3,000 customer contracts, including many with well-known corporations. In particular, TelecityGroup hosts many network services providers across its network of data centres, including over 100 in London Docklands, and is the only company to host each of the three largest global internet exchanges (the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX), the London Internet Exchange (LINX) and the Deutscher Commercial Internet Exchange (DE-CIX)).

These secure, controlled environments are staffed by highly-skilled engineers and provide customers with access to multiple network service providers and ISPs. Seven of the TelecityGroup’s data centres have achieved the internationally recognised ISO 27001:2005 certification for information security management systems. TelecityGroup’s current services include providing space in which customers can locate their equipment, connecting customers to network service providers and providing equipment maintenance and engineering support, while customers retain ownership of their equipment and are responsible for its insurance.
