Data Centre Connect

Data Centre Connect is a sophisticated cable installation and management service for connecting between customer locations or between TelecityGroup locations within a TelecityGroup data centre. For critical peering, transit and traffic exchange requirements customers can directly interconnect with over 250 Tier 1 and Tier 2 global and national network providers and ISPs located at TelecityGroup facilities.

From UTP Cat5E or Cat6 cable connection to multiple fibre provision, TelecityGroup installs, tests and manages these cross connects to the highest industry standards.

To ensure the highest levels of quality and security, only trained TelecityGroup engineers are permitted to install and terminate cabling in the facilities. Cabling is anonymous and a custom-build infrastructure database is updated every time circuits are added or removed, making quick lookup possible to greatly enhance trouble-shooting and planning functions, bringing order to data centre infrastructure.

Tail circuit provision

In recognition of the need for high levels of connectivity between your company premises and TelecityGroup facilities, it is possible to install tail circuits into any data centre as a managed service. Tail circuits can be Ethernet or E1, E3 or STM1.
