TelecityGroup is the leading provider of highly connected, carrier-neutral data centres in Europe and as such is at the heart of the European digital economy.
Data centres provide secure environments for the IT and telecoms equipment that powers the digital economy.
Our data centres are places in which separate networks that make up the internet meet and where bandwidth- intensive applications, content and information are hosted. As such, they are important network hubs, or enabling environments, of the European digital economy. The presence of multiple national and international network providers in our data centres provides connectivity options for customers; as such we are ‘carrier-neutral’.

Our customers are the networks and providers of content and applications that make up the internet. Customers choose TelecityGroup because of our high quality infrastructure and service standards, connectivity options and capacity to support their future growth.
Each TelecityGroup data centre maximises connectivity options and we seek constantly to enhance the choice and availability of networks to customers. Customers are charged primarily for locating their IT equipment within the highly connected and resilient environments that our data centres provide. These charges are supplemented by additional fees for power usage, engineering support, connectivity and other IT services.
As organisations’ online activities grow they need to deploy more IT and communications equipment in data centres which, in turn, drives our growth. A substantial amount of our growth comes from our existing customers. We also attract new customers, often due to advances in technology, which enable a wider range of applications to be migrated towards being managed and delivered on the internet.
We aim to deliver controlled, sustainable, and profitable growth by opening and selling data centre capacity in the key internet economy cities in Europe. This enables us to meet the demand for highly connected and resilient capacity that is being driven by the growth in the digital economy.
TelecityGroup has an unrivalled, demand-driven, pan-European data centre expansion programme. This will see our customer power capacity increase from the 86MW that was operational at the end of 2012 to 135MW, much of this to be delivered in the next three years.
