Brian McArthur-Muscroft
Group Finance Director
As Group Finance Director, Brian McArthur-Muscroft is responsible for financial and funding strategy, policies, reporting, planning and control for the Group.
Mr McArthur-Muscroft has over 25 years’ experience dealing with financial strategy, with the last 20 of these specialising in the telecommunications and technology sector. Prior to joining Telecity, he was Group FD of Viatel, a pan-European telecommunications business; Group FD of Eckoh Technologies plc, a UK-listed telecommunications and technology group; and CFO of Cable and Wireless HKT Multimedia (including the Star Joint Venture). He has also lived and worked in Asia and Australasia and was Director of Risk Management for Cable and Wireless Asia.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant (FCA) with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, specialising in business restructuring and turnaround assignments, and holds a Law Degree. He was responsible as Interim CFO for the Financial turnaround of Worldcom EMEA.
He is a member of the Corporate Development Board for the NSPCC and is also the Responsible Officer for Hockerill Anglo European College (voluntary post), a leading secondary school in Hertfordshire.
Career recognition: Winner of the ICAEW FTSE 250 Finance Director of the Year 2012. In addition, TelecityGroup won ‘Deal of the Year’ at the 2011 ACT and CBI Industry Awards for its £200m five-year Senior Debt Facility.
