Mike Tobin named 'Private Firm Technology CEO of the year’
CEO of TelecityRedbus receives international recognition at UK Technology Innovations and Growth Awards 2007Mike Tobin, CEO of leading data centre and managed services company TelecityRedbus, has been named Private Firm Technology CEO of the Year at the UK Technology Innovation and Growth Awards 2007.
The ‘Technology CEO if the Year’ prize is awarded to individuals that drive the success of the UK's fastest growing technology companies, and recognises those CEOs who have delivered major successes during 2006.
Paddy MccGwire, Managing Partner, Cobalt Corporate Finance and judge, says: “Mike Tobin earned the judges approval for the £33m acquisition of Globix in September 2006. Mike’s strategies for growth and pricing have helped stabilise the market for IT infrastructure and hosting in the UK, and made TelecityRedbus a market leader.”
The UK Technology Innovation and Growth Awards winners undergo an exhaustive process of investigation by an esteemed panel of judges and over last eight years the awards have become one of the most coveted accolades within the industry.
