TelecityRedbus named 'Best Pan-European Data Centre Operator' at Data Centre Europe Awards 2007
Mike Tobin named ‘Outstanding CEO of the Year’ at leading industry awards
26 March 2007: TelecityRedbus, Europe’s leading data centre and managed services company, was last night awarded two prestigious awards at the inaugural Data Centre Europe Awards 2007, as part of the 3rd Data Centre Europe event.
TelecityRedbus was awarded ‘Best Pan-European Data Centre Operator’ for its network of 19 data centres across Europe. The award is recognition of the rapid growth the company has achieved in the past year following the merger with Telecity and Redbus and the subsequent acquisition of Globix. TelecityRedbus’ focus on customer service and infrastructure development has created the largest and most advanced infrastructure and managed services provider in Europe.

Mike Tobin was named ‘Outstanding CEO if the Year’, an award hotly contested by over thirty business leaders nominated for the award. Mike has driven the success and growth of the company over the last year, and TelecityRedbus is widely thought to have stabilised the market for the IT infrastructure and hosting in the UK.

The Data Centre Europe Awards aim to recognise leadership, innovation and value creation in the data centre and managed services sector. The awards, voted for by industry peers, took place during a three day summit which provided market insight, and demonstrated premier data centre technologies and solutions.
