John O’Reilly
Independent Non-Executive Director

As well as a non-executive Director, John O’Reilly is Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and a member of both the Audit and Nominations Committees. His areas of particular experience relevant to the Group include marketing, public relations, public affairs, property and business development.

Mr O'Reilly is currently Managing Director of Coral Interactive, the online and telephone betting and gaming arm of Gala Coral Group. Until 2010, he was the Managing Director of Remote Betting and Gaming at Ladbrokes. Mr O’Reilly joined the Board of Ladbrokes following the completion of the sale of the Hilton International hotels division in February 2006. He led the Ladbrokes eGaming Division since its establishment in 2002 until 2010. Mr O’Reilly had responsibility for international development, including Ladbrokes’ growing retail joint venture in Spain, and oversaw Ladbrokes’ core bookmaking function.

Mr O’Reilly’s experience within the highly regulated betting and gaming sector includes being a founder Director and formerly Vice Chairman of the Remote Gaming Association. Mr O’Reilly holds a First Class honours degree in Business.
