24x7 Service and Support
The TelecityGroup on-site 24x7 Network Operation Centre and certified engineering staff are available to respond to issues and alerts. Customers, or their authorized representatives, have round-the-clock toll-free technical support.
Monitoring Services
TelecityGroup monitors your Managed Hosting solution on a 24x7 basis. Our Managed Hosting Service includes HTTP, ping, and port monitoring and also includes 15 standard system health processes. These processes set off alerts on a proactive basis, so engineers can notify you of any issues regarding your disk space, CPU spikes, RAM processes, NICs, motherboards, and more.
Server Management
- Hardware – TelecityGroup has partnered with best-of-breed server technology providers to deliver server management, monitoring and environment maintenance service for optimum availability.
- Vulnerability Assessment – Using third-party software platform based on industry best practices, all servers are hardened against common exploits and vulnerabilities. A report is provided to you which demonstrates that your server meets appropriate levels of security and compliancy where needed. The base service includes a one-time hardening and, depending on your business need, TelecityGroup is prepared to provide you with additional assessments as necessary.
- Operating System and Patch Services – Managed Hosting servers operate either on Windows, Linux, or Solaris and all platforms are monitored hourly for critical missing patches that could compromise the environment's security. All patches are available through a secure customer service portal. TelecityGroup can provide you with the option of performing the patching service yourself, or perform patch services on your behalf – alleviating the need to dedicate resources to this task.
- Power Cycling – TelecityGroup is available 24x7 for power cycling when you determine that a reboot of your server is required. Power cycling is performed by professionals who understand your environment and can act as an extension of your team for these reboots.
Firewall Management
TelecityGroup will work with you and your team to recommend which firewall technology is appropriate for your business needs. TelecityGroup maintains the firewall on your behalf and gives you the ability to make rule changes. And, while TelecityGroup professionals monitor your activity, the firewall service also comes with the ability for you to view firewall logs and firewall configurations.
Dedicated Account Executive
All Managed Hosting clients have a dedicated sales representative that serves as your primary non-technical contact and provides you with a quarterly review report. This report details service activities that include ticket volume, utilization graphs, capacity planning, and performance against SLA.
