TelecityGroup acquires UK Grid to fulfil growth requirements

Acquisition enhances TelecityGroup’s growth platform in key UK digital and connectivity hub

TelecityGroup, Europe's industry-leading provider of premium carrier-neutral data centres, has today announced the acquisition of UK Grid, a leading UK data centre operator for £11.7m.

TelecityGroup’s highly-targeted data centre expansion programme is designed to ensure its customers have the capacity to grow in the most highly-demanded European markets. The acquisition of UK Grid will immediately add approximately 1.5 megawatts of high quality carrier neutral capacity to TelecityGroup’s existing estate in the North West with the potential for further expansion.
