The brief

iland, VMware's Service Provider Partner of the Year 2010,  provides a range of hosted cloud infrastructure services in the US and Europe that enable customers to have enterprise class infrastructure in the form of virtual data centers with complete flexibility in terms of billing and capacity models. With the global market for Infrastructure-as-a-Service forecast to grow significantly, iland is investing in the diversity of its data centre facilities to capitalise on this demand, with a specific focus on Europe. Within this investment, it was important for iland to find a reputable and dependable data centre partner to work with.

For iland’s customers and partners that provide Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to the healthcare, pharmaceutical, retail and IT sectors, compliance is fundamental for their underlying infrastructure and this is something that also needed to be addressed when looking for a data centre partner.
