TelecityGroup appoints new operations director

Peter Judson to oversee facilities in London, Manchester and Dublin

TelecityGroup, the leading European provider of data centre and value added services, has appointed Peter Judson as Operations Director for the UK and Ireland.

Peter will be responsible for the operational management of all ten of TelecityGroup’s data centres in the region - including the new state-of-the-art Powergate facility in London - maintaining highly secure and resilient environments.

Peter brings over 20 years of experience in the IT and telecoms industry, most recently managing the UKIMEA Critical Facilities for EDS to maintain a ‘zero outage’ environment. As part of that role Peter oversaw the successful design, build and management of commercial and government data centres across Europe, as well as managing the global rollout and delivery of other strategic IT initiatives.

Prior to joining EDS, Peter worked in Asia where he completed several implementations of global technology projects for Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific. In addition, Peter has held senior positions at SHL Systems House including Technical Operations Manager; and Texaco, in a variety of roles including Operations Analyst and Senior Technical Analyst.
