TelecityGroup gains international accreditations for quality management and security

All European data centres certified compliant with ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 standards

TelecityGroup, the industry-leading provider of premium network independent data centres, has achieved compliance for its entire European data centre estate to ISO 27001:2005 and ISO 9001:2008. The international accreditations recognise high standards for security management and business quality management respectively, and have been awarded following rigorous assessments under ISO guidelines.

The certifications underline TelecityGroup’s dedication to the continual improvement of service delivery, and provide customers with assurance that consistent and thorough procedures are in place to support their business requirements.

The security management standard ISO 27001:2005 demonstrates adherence to strict security management procedures. To be certified compliant TelecityGroup demonstrated it systematically examines security risks, has a coherent and comprehensive suite of security controls in place and has an overarching management process to ensure these controls continue to meet its customers’ security needs.

ISO 9001:2008, a business quality management standard, demonstrates that procedures are in place to ensure operational standards are met. The standard covers all key processes within the business: monitoring to ensure effectiveness, keeping adequate records, highlighting and correcting shortcomings, and regularly reviewing process to ensure continuous improvement. By achieving compliance TelecityGroup is demonstrating its commitment to quality.
