TelecityGroup short-listed in Data Centres Europe Awards

TelecityGroup, the leading pan-European provider of network independent data centres, has been short-listed in two categories for the Data Centres Europe Awards 2008.

Mike Tobin, CEO of TelecityGroup, has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Leader in Data Centres Award following a year in which he achieved significant growth and led the company through a successful IPO on the London Stock Exchange.

The Group is also nominated in the Data Centres Europe Green Award, a special category which recognises companies that have taken important steps towards understanding and managing the environmental impact of operating data centres. Over the past year, TelecityGroup has made a number of initiatives to enhance the efficiency of its infrastructure while introducing environmentally responsible management and operational processes into the fabric of the company.

The Data Centres Europe Awards recognise leadership and innovation in the data centre and managed services sector. Winners will be announced on the evening of 10th April 2008, at the Data Centres Europe 08 conference industry dinner at the Intercontinental Park Lane, London.
