TelecityGroup supports Action for Children through Byte Night 2009

21 September 2009: A team from TelecityGroup, Europe's leading provider of premium network independent data centres, is taking part in 2009’s Byte Night.

At the annual event individuals and teams from the IT industry spend a night sleeping on the streets around the UK to raise money and awareness for the charity Action for Children.

Staff from TelecityGroup will be sleeping out on the 2nd October in London, along with over 500 industry executives to experience what it might be like for the UK’s homeless youths. This will be the 11th Byte Night event, having raised £470,000 in 2008 alone.

Michael Tobin, CEO of TelecityGroup, who will be joining the TelecityGroup team on the night, comments: “Byte Night is a very important charity for TelecityGroup, raising awareness of vulnerable children and giving them the resources to get back into a safe society. I’m very proud that the team at TelecityGroup are taking part and I hope we can raise lots of funds for Action for Children.”
