TelecityGroup wins at Deal of the Year Awards

TelecityGroup has won the ‘UK and continental European Loan’ (deal size under £750m) category at The Deals of the Year Awards organised by The Treasurer, the official magazine of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). The award recognises the Group’s unprecedented achievement in securing a new five-year facility totaling £200 million.

The Deals of the Year Awards celebrate the achievements of Corporate finance and treasury teams in successfully accessing the debt and equity markets on behalf of their company. They are the only treasury awards judged by fellow practitioners, looking to reward innovation and excellence in treasury rather than the size of the deal.

TelecityGroup won the ‘UK and continental European Loan’ category (deal size under £750m) for the refinancing of a syndicated four-bank club deal with a new five-year facility totaling £200m – an unparalleled achievement when there was a market preference for three-year transactions at the time. The deal allows TelecityGroup to expand its banking group with new lenders
