Evaluation

The service begins with a network mapping of devices in your environment. Network devices and servers are scanned for open ports, missing patches, and other potential vulnerabilities. At the end of the scan, a report detailing the results of evaluation will be created. This report can be used for corrective action. Scans can be conducted on a one-time or recurring basis.

Evaluation and Recommendation

Based on the report, TelecityGroup engineers highlight areas of risk, prioritise the results and recommend a course of action. In addition, the TelecityGroup security team will review security policies and make recommendations based on best practices.

Evaluation, Recommendation, and Remediation

Remediation takes the vulnerability assessment one step further by having TelecityGroup implement the necessary changes to your firewall, servers, and applications to tighten security. As part of this service, an additional scan will be run after the remediation process to validate that the hardening and patching work was successful.
